It was while we were touring Mezquita de Cordoba. We came upon the preaching pulpit. A black wood sculpted masterpiece was standing atop the preaching pulpit. There were a lot of other images everywhere but this one was catching my attention.

The masterpiece was sculpted from a piece of black wood. Black mahogany, I suppose. The detail was amazing. My lack of expertise and knowledge about sculptures did not prevent me from recognizing the skill of its maker.
