Red rock landscapes at Arizona’s Red Rock Park

Red rock landscapes were everywhere along the route. We were doing a road trip through Arizona from Phoenix on the way to Page. The plan was to visit and explore as many interesting sites in Arizona. We had seen red rock formations before but this was different. On one rest stop, the vista of the red rocks was just fantastic.

We ended up enjoying a bit more of the red rock landscapes on a rest stop at Slide Rock State Park. Here, we walked along Oak Creek. Observed the people who were enjoying the cool waters of Oak creek . We also found a secluded spot that allowed us to eat lunch and take a short nap.
