Champs-Élysées Avenue was described as the most beautiful avenue in the world. Shops and businesses occupy both sides of the avenue and it contributes significantly to its unique ambiance. Shoppers can be seen walking up and down the avenue in search for bargain items.

The Arc de Triomphe, another historical and famous monument, occupy a roundabout at one end of the Champs-Élysées Avenue. A panoramic view of the avenue can be seen from the top of Arc de Triomphe. The photograph was taken mid-afternoon. The sun was getting low and the tourists were teeming the avenue.
