Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church

Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church was the second of the painted churches. The physical location of the church was in Moravia, Texas. We tried entering the church but found it closed. We left and returned the next day, planning to attend Sunday service, but still found it shuttered.

The church was small, old, and immaculately white from the outside. An asphalted driveway went around a big, old tree from the roadway, to the door by the side of the church, and then back to the roadway. There were no vehicles in the parking lot. We were seeing silhouettes of the unlighted altar and the pews when we peeked through the glass front door. I was really hoping to see the elegance of the church’s interior. Maybe, if we have a chance, we will be back and attend a service in this church in the future.
