The Rocky Path At Mirror Lake

A photograph of rock stacks on one side of the trail. Somebody must have started with a few rock stacks. Others may have added to the collection and filled one side of the trail with rock stacks.

This was the day that we hiked going to Mirror Lake. There were no regular motor vehicles allowed to drive the road. At the end of the road, we continue to follow the trail that took us around Mirror Lake. It was on the way back that we discovered the whole side of the trail filled with rock stacks.

  1. I’ve always thought it funny how that happens. It starts with one stack of rocks and then I guess other people just add to it over time, or create new ones.

    • I thought of the same thing. People probably saw one and decided to try their ability to create one too. I actually hoped of seeing a fancier one like an arch or two pillars connected by an arch.
