Tarwi (Lupinus mutabilis) by the hiking trail

A close up photograph of a Tarwi flower (Lupinus mutabilis). This is a flower of a plant that is a member of the Legume family. Regionally known as a Bluebonnet. It is cultivated as a food source (legume bean) and as ornamental flower. The flower was photographed by the side of Rancheria Falls Trail leading to Wapama Falls @ Yosemite National Park.
