Cowboy boots and wooden signs were things that I noticed at the Flea Market. These were items made by the country folks who sold them. I felt it showed the character of the people – resourceful, self-reliant, and hard-working.
The boots attracted my attention because I saw each one made with unique craftsmanship. My knowledge of the cowboy boot made me associate it with the state of Texas. Its history though tells me that its origin may have come all the way from Spain.
Oversized wooden signs make for attractive decorations especially for the backyard. It can be bulky and space consuming so adequate planning needs to be done before considering its acquisition. It does have a very country look.
Cowboy boots and wooden signs seems to be omnipresent in country fairs and flea markets.

Lovely captures of the cowboy boots and wooden signs. I never would have guessed that the origin of country boots may have come from Spain.
