Siargao beach was looking like a postcard when I woke up that morning. There was no other thing to do except to put on my sandals and start walking. This was part of the escapade to Siargao.

The beach dog was sleeping on the sand. I was thinking, the way of life here was similar to the sleeping dog – slow and laid back. Some have liked it so much that they even left their country and moved into Siargao.

I was cautious as I was approaching the beach dog. However, it only glanced at me and went back to sleep. I stood there awhile and took some photographs. When it was time to go, the dog stood up and walked the length of the shoreline with me. It turned out I made a new friend and a good walking companion.
