Yellow Hibiscus

An Attractive Yellow Hibiscus Flower In Mykonos

An attractive yellow hibiscus flower thrived along a busy alleyway in Mykonos. There was barely any soil for it to grow. Yet, it bloomed from a plant that was placed in one tight corner below a staircase.

The alleyway was narrow, winding, and covered mostly with the popular whitewashed concrete. Foot traffic was heavy since it was on a popular area of Mykonos. It was evident that there were people occupying the floorspace above. The laundry line was full of clothes flapping and drying in the sun and wind. There were other plants beside the hibiscus flower. All were well-cared but were also on patches of soil.

The photograph was taken while we were exploring the narrow alleyways of Mykonos, Greece.

    • Surprisingly, yes! The sad part is when you try to cultivate a plant and it still dies. Yet, some plants just thrive without care.
