A Memorable Day At The Amsterdam Museums

Amsterdam museums were our itinerary on our third day in Amsterdam. Specifically, Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. The first day in Amsterdam was a walk and tour of the city streets. The second day was a tour of windmills, wooden houses, and wooden shoes making.

Studying the art work

We were never particular about museums in general but we made it a point to visit these two museums. It was not a small matter that Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Van Gogh were just some of the great artists whose works can be viewed in these museums. We simply cannot pass the chance.

The exhibits at the Amsterdam museums did not disappoint us. Not only did we see the works of the great artists but also a lot of other renowned artists of their time. We have rarely seen such fine works of art. The historical significance of the art works were also educational.

It took us almost the whole day to go through the two museums. There were so much art works and historical artifacts. The best thing that we did was to go slowly and appreciate the significance of most pieces of art. I felt like we needed to visit these places again.
